This specimen was lot 841 in Sincona sale 46 (Zürich, May 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"Osterreich, I. Republik. 1918-1938. 100 Schilling 1931, Wien. NGC PL65. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Austria, first republic, 1918-38, one hundred schilling of 1931, Vienna mint. Magnificent condition.)"

This type was struck in limited numbers 1926-34 prior to the anschluss with Nazi Germany.

Recorded mintage: 101,935.

Specification: 23.52 g, 0.900 fine gold, .680 troy oz AGW, designed by Arnold Hartig.
