This specimen was lot 3738 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it sold for $287.50 including buyer's fees. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. 25 Schilling, 1931. Imperial eagle. Reverse: Value. NGC graded MS-64." The SCWC, which lists this type for 1926-34, does not price this coin except in uncirculated, suggesting that it spent its life in bank vaults before entering the collector market.

Recorded mintage: 160,003.

Specification: 5.88 g, 0.900 fine gold, .170 tory oz AGW, 21 mm diameter, designed by Arnold Hartig.
