This specimen was lot 3264 in Goldberg sale 78 (Los Angeles, January 2014), where it sold for $258.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Penny, 1912-H. George V. Uncirculated with mint red. NGC graded MS-64 Brown." This type was struck in large numbers 1911-36 and this is a common date. The bust was modified in 1926 (KM 826) and again in 1928 (KM 838) to alleviate striking problems, including the "ghosting" visible on the reverse of this specimen.

Recorded mintage: 48,306,000 (plus 16,800,000 from the Heaton mint).

Specification: 9.45 g, bronze, 30.8 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: S.4052; KM-810.
