This specimen was lot 2341 in Sincona sale 11 (Zurich, May 2013), where it sold for 46,000 CHF (about US$56,950 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR/ÖSTERREICH Ferdinand III. 1637-1657. 10 Dukaten 1644 (aus 1643), Prag. FERDIN: III . D G: R . IMPERATOR . S: A: Belorbeertes Brustbild nach rechts. Rv. GER: HVN: BOHE - MIÆ . REX . 1644 Gekrönter, nimbierter Doppeladler mit gekröntem Wappen auf der Brust (in der Umschrift das Zeichen des Münzmeisters Jakob W. Wolker). Sehr selten. Vorzüglich. Slg. Dietiker, Auktion AMS 1, 20. September 2004, Stuttgart, Lot 423. (Austria, Ferdinand III, 1637-57, ten ducats of 1644, Prague mint. Obverse: laureate bust to right; reverse: crowned, nimbate double headed eagle with crowned arms on the breast, with the mintmaster's mark in the legend. Very rare, extremely fine, from the Dietiker collection sold in Stuttgart, September 2004, lot 423.)"
This rare type is listed in the SCWC under Bohemia for 1641-55. The prior type (KM 429) lacked the laurel wreath on the emperor's head.
