This specimen is the last of a type struck 1927-40 during the reign of Christian X (1912-47). In 1940, the Nazis invaded and occupied Denmark. In 1941, the øre (100 øre = 1 krone) was switched to zinc and struck in that metal until 1972.

Recorded mintage: 1,955,000.

Specification: bronze, 1.9 g, plain edge.
