SB126-49520r.jpg

This specimen was lot 49520 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. Ajman. 7 1/2 Riyals, AH1390-1970. Rashid Bin Hamad al-Naimi. PCGS PROOF-65 Deep Cameo. Death of Nassar." This design was also used on KM 12 (silver five riyals), KM 15 (gold 25 riyals) and KM 16 (gold fifty riyals). All of Ajman's coinage was struck 1969-70. The sheikdom joined the United Arab Emirates and coinage ceased. Recorded mintage: 6,000.

Specification: 23 g, 0.835 fine silver, 38 mm diameter.
