This specimen was lot 5189 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 1 Sol 1562, Genf. Mzz. P. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, city and canton of Geneva, one sol of 1562, Geneva mint. Very Fine.)"
This type was struck 1536-40, 1550-76, 1580-97, and many dates have mintmaster's initials. One thaler was 96 sols.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 1.64 g, billon, 21 mm diameter, this specimen 1.54 g.
