Sincona sale 102, lot 5188

This specimen was lot 5188 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$226 including buyers' fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 3 Sols 1561, Genf. Mzz. P. Selten. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, city and canton of Geneva, three sols of 1561, Geneva mint. Rare, Very Fine.)"

This type is listed in Numista for 1554-89, 1592-94. One thaler was 96 sols.
