This specimen was lot 3167 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 650 (about US$856 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Taler 1717. Augsburg. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Germany, principality of Sprinzenstein, thaler of 1717, Augsburg mint, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This and Dav-1198 are the only issues of this Austrian prince during the eighteenth century.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.
Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, this specimen 29.01 g.
