This specimen was lot 4418 in Sincona sale 4 (Zürich, October 2011) where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Nürnberg, Taler 1680. Drei Wappen in Kleeblattstellung. Rv. Stadtansicht, darüber in Wolken strahlender Name Gottes, im Abschnitt in Kartusche die Jahreszahl. Hksp. Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön. (City of Nuremburg, thaler of 1680. Three shields in a triangle; reverse: city view, "YAHWEH" in rays above, date in cartouche below. Very fine to good very fine.)"
Numismatically, Nurnberg is better known for her series of ducats (1/32 ducat thru 5 ducats) featuring the Paschal Lamb.
