This specimen was lot 1592 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 2,600 (about US$3,426 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Taler 1620. Öls. Vorzüglich. (Germany, duchy of Schlesien-Münsterberg-Oels, thaler of 1620, extremely fine.)"
Silesia is considered a German State even tho the province was then under Austrian rule and is now in Poland. This type, listed for 1619-20 only, is rare like all the thalers of this locality. The coinage ceased when the last of the local dukes died in 1647. Munsterberg passed to Austria while Oels passed to a junior branch of the duke of Württemberg, who resumed coinage in 1674.
Recorded mintage: unknown but very scarce.
Specification: silver, this specimen 28.44 g.
