This specimen was lot 2543 in Sincona sale 47 (Zürich, May 2018), where it sold for 750 CHF (about US$900 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND, Basel, Stadt und Kanton Basel, Taler 1694. Selten. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (city and canton of Basel, thaler of 1694. Rare, Very fine-extremely fine.)"
