This specimen was lot 5049 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,740 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND Zug, Groschen 1568, Zug. Variante mit Jahreszahl auf Wappenseite. Selten. Vorzüglich. Stempel vermutlich aus dem Atelier von Stampfer (canton of Zug, groschen of 1568, Zug mint. Variety with the date on the arms side. Rare, Extremely fine. Dies are perhaps from Stampfer's workshop.)"
