This specimen was lot 5029 in Sincona sale 68 (Zurich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Aargau | Kanton, Rappen 1816, Aarau. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast FDC. (canton of Aargau, rappen of 1816, Aarau mint. Rare in this condition, About uncirculated.)"
This type was also struck 1809 and 1811 and is fairly available in circulated condition. Ten rappen made a batzen and forty batzen made a thaler.
