This specimen was lot 146 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,322 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN, Qajar Dynasty, Agha Mohammad Shah, 1193-1211 AH (1779-1797). 1/2 Toman 1211 AH (1797), Tehran Mint. Reverse used for coronation issues. Äusserst seltene Variante der Rückseite; Extremely rare reverse type. NGC AU55. Purchased from A. Shams, Frankfurt, in 1984."
