This specimen was lot 148 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 800 CHF (about US$1,057 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Qajar Dynasty, Fath-'Ali Shah, 1212-1250 AH (1797-1834). Riyal 1212 AH (1797), Maragheh Mint. In the name of Baba Khan. Äusserst selten, Gutes sehr schön; Extremely rare. Good very fine. Purchased from A. Shams, Frankfurt, in 1985."
Maragheh is the sole mint for this rare type. Baba Khan took the name Fath-'Ali Shah on his coronation.
