This specimen was lot 2896 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 90,000 CHF (about US$109,242 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Leopold I. 1657-1705. 10 Dukaten 1660, Graz. Münzmeister Hans Caspar Khendlmayr. Abschlag von den Stempel des Talers. Von grösster Seltenheit. NGC MS61. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Austria, Leopold I, 1657-1705, ten ducats of 1660, Graz mint, struck using thaler dies. Of the highest rarity, Magnificent condition.)"
This type was struck steadily 1662-88 yet all dates are rare. As these were made for presentation, most survivors show jewelry damage.
