This specimen was lot 23822 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "UKRAINE. 20 Hryvnias, 2007. Kiev Mint. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF. This interesting gold and silver bimetallic issue focuses upon the topic of water as the source of life. Highly attractive and pleasing. Includes original box and certificate, stamped as #357." Altho the Ukraine did not begin issuing coinage as an independent country until 1992, in the ensuing 25 years it has issued more than 600 coin types, mostly NCLT's. This one must be scarce, as it has a catalog value far in excess of its bullion value. This is the first coin from the Ukraine to be posted on on the Wiki.
Recorded mintage: 3,000.
Specification: 14.23 g, silver, 31 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-468.
