Stephen Album internet sale 28, lot 1308

This specimen was lot 1308 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $108. The catalog description[1] noted, "MOROCCO: al-Hassan II, 1962-1999, AR 100 dirhams, 1985/AH1405, 6th Panarab Sports Games-Olympics, mintage of only 2,300 pieces, prooflike, Choice Unc, S, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection." The first Panarab games were held in Morocco in 1961.

Recorded mintage: 2,300 plus 300 proofs.

Specification: 15 g, 0.925 fine silver, 31.3 mm diameter, reeded edge.
