Steve Album Auction 52, lot 1287

This specimen was lot 1287 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $480. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MOROCCO: al-Hassan II, 1961-1999, AR 100 dirhams, 1985/AH1405, UN International Year of Youth, a magnificent reflective proof example! PCGS graded Proof 69 DCAM, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection. Top pop for PCGS and NGC!" The SCWC lists this NCLT only in gold (KM 147) so we are calling this silver issue KM 147a.

Recorded mintage: unknown plus 30 in gold.

Specification: KM 147a: 15 g, 0.925 fine silver, 31.3 mm diameter, reeded edge. KM 147: 21.50 g, 0.900 fine gold.
