This specimen was lot 1685 in Ponterio sale 173 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $10,869. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Riksdaler, 1654. PCGS AU-50 Secure Holder. Karl X Gustav (1654-60). Mint mark with stars. Toned." This one year type is the only riksdaler of Karl X, the next issue of this denomination being in 1676 (Dav-4538). It is rare.
