This specimen was lot 32455 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V 1/2 Penny 1913 MS64 Brown NGC, London mint. Wide date. A chocolate-brown glossy offering of this classic type. Well-kept and in an elusive condition." The type was struck 1911-36 at London (shown here), Calcutta, Melbourne, Sydney and Heaton. The SCWC notes wide and narrow date varieties for this date but prices them the same.

Recorded mintage: 2,160,000, all varieties.

Specification: 5.67 g, bronze, 25.5 mm diameter.
