Sincona sale 84, lot 554

This specimen was lot 554 in Sincona sale 84 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 1,700 CHF (about US$2,289 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 10 Kopecks 1913, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB VS. Proof. Rare in this condition. PCGS PR63. Beautiful condition with magnificent patina."

This type was struck 1867-1914. Of the two mintmasters for 1913, ЭБ is proof only.

Recorded mintage: 7,250,000 (ВС + ЭБ).

Specification: 1.80 g, 0.500 fine silver.
