This specimen was lot 2502 in Goldberg sale 91 (Los Angeles, June 2016), where it sold for $1,175. The catalog description[1] noted, "Seychelles. 1000 Rupees, 1986 NGC PF67 UC. Tower of Victoria. Tenth Anniversary. NGC graded Proof 67 Ultra Cameo." This commemorative is struck to the standard of a British double sovereign. It is accompanied by a silver 100 rupees (KM 55).

Recorded mintage: 100 proofs.

Specification: 15.98 g, .917 fine gold, 0.4711 troy oz AGW.
