This specimen was lot 25660 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), where it sold for $3,055. The catalog description[1] noted, "Danzig. Sigismund III gold Ducat 1611, XF Details, creased with noticeable surface damage, possibly ex-jewelry." This type was struck with several subtypes 1585-1632. Its long run of production make it among the more available Polish ducats.
