This specimen was lot 6747 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 1/2 Taler, 1833-B. Kremnitz Mint. NGC AU Details--Surface Hairlines. Three year type of which this date is actually a restrike from 1841. Some surface hairlines in fields under pale apricot and light blue toning. Attractive underlying luster. From the Mezo-Toth Kalman Collection." This type was issued 1831, 1833 and 1834 and is expensive. It is accompanied by a thaler (KM 418) and 20 krajczar (KM 415.2).

Specification: 14.03 g, 0.833 fine silver, .375 troy oz ASW.
