The first specimen was lot 658 in Jean Elsen sale 105 (Brussel, June 2010), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"SAINT EMPIRE, Rodolphe II (1576-1612), AR Taler, 1607, Hall. Erreur de lég. au rev.: ARCHIDVES.. Droit : B. l. et cuirassé à droite. Revers : Grand écu couronné, entouré du collier de la Toison d'or. Taches. Superbe." (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II (1576-1612), silver thaler of 1607, Hall mint. Misspelled legend on reverse. Obverse: armored bust facing right; reverse: large shield, crowned, ringed by the Order of the Golden Fleece. Scratched, Extremely Fine)
