Wells struck with good definition of the fine central devices, full legends on the flan though some of the letters are a bit soft. A great example that's lustrous with light attractive tone." The specification reported below is for the first emission; the second emission of October 1417 was reduced to .916 fine gold. Numerous varieties exist as many mints participated. The second specimen was lot 2728 in Sincona sale 83 (Zurich, May 2023), where it sold for 4,500 CHF (about US$6,022 including buyer's fees).
