This specimen was lot 3233 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Genf/Genève, Stadt und Kanton, 1 Sol 1561, Genf. Mzz. P. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Geneva, one sol of 1561, Geneva mint, mintmark "P". Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1536-40, 1550-76, 1580-97, and many dates have mintmaster's initials. Numista does not mention the mintmark clearly visible here. One thaler was 96 sols.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
