This specimen was lot 4319 in Sincona sale 4 (Zürich, October 2011) where it sold for 950 CHF (about US$1,264 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Brandenburg-Ansbach, Markgrafschaft Joachim Ernst, 1603-1625. Taler 1620. Geharnischtes Brustbild fast von vorn. Rv. Ovales Wappen auf verzierter Wappenkartusche. Sehr schön. (Germany, Margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Joachim Ernest, 1603-25, thaler of 1620. Obverse: facing armored bust; reverse: quartered arms in cartouche. Very fine)."

Altho some issues of this principality of the 1620's are common, this one is rare.
