This specimen was lot 21075 in Heritage sale 3021 (New York, January 2013), where it sold for $1,410. The catalog description^[1] noted, "George V Proof Sixpence 1933, PR65 NGC, clearly a gem specimen, blessed with light silvery golden gray iridescence. Very rare as a Proof of Record, and in top condition." This type was issued in large numbers 1927-36 but the proofs are rare.

Recorded mintage: 22,185,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 2.82 g, 0.500 fine silver.
