This specimen was lot 34165 in Heritage sale 3082 (New York, January 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: George V Proof 6 Pence 1935 PR66 NGC. An extremely rare off-year Proof in an exalted premium gem grade. Lightly reflective, sharply struck and with minimal evidence of subsequent handling." This type was struck 1927-36 in substantial numbers tho the 1927 is a proof only date. It superseded a type struck 1911-27 with a different reverse (KM 815). This date is common in all grades.

Recorded mintage: 13,996,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 2.82 g, 0.500 fine silver, 19.5 mm diameter.
