Australia H3037-29032r.jpg

This specimen was lot 29032 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V 1/2 Penny 1914-(L) MS65 Brown PCGS, London mint. Sharp and highly appealing with desirable medium-brown tone and reddish luster that clings to the devices. The razor-sharp features sit atop delightfully toned and remarkably clear surfaces. A better date in the series, especially in this gem designation. From The Prager Collection Of Australian Coins." The type was struck 1911-36 at London (this specimen), Calcutta, Melbourne, Sydney and Heaton. The London Mint produced this type 1911-14.

Recorded mintage: 1,440,000.
