This specimen was lot 72144 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $45. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELGIUM. Centime, 1912. PCGS MS-63 Brown Gold Shield. French legend variety. A rather deep brown and choice example, with some shimmering luster peeking through." This type was also struck in 1914 before the start of World War One. This denomination was also struck with Flemish legends (KM 77).

Recorded mintage: 2,540,000.

Specification: 2 g, copper, 16.5 mm diameter.
