The first specimen was lot 116 in Sincona sale 65 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 150 CHF (about US$198 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"5 Kopecks 1787, Suzun Mint, KM. 0.5 roubles according to Petrov. Extremely fine. (5 копеек 1787, Сузунский МД, КМ. 56,89 г. Биткин 793. 0,5 рубля по Петрову. Состояние отличное.)"
The second specimen was lot 2076 in Goldberg's NY International sale 59 (New York, January 2023), where it did not sell. The catalog description[2] noted, "5 Kopecks 1787 KM. Authenticated and graded by NGC AU 58 BN. Rich brown. Choice almost uncirculated." This type was struck at Suzun 1781-96 and also Ekaterinburg, Izhora, Feodesia and St. Petersburg.
