This specimen was lot 1227 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 1,450 CHF (about US$2,103 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, seit 1806 Königreich. Maximilian IV. (I.) Joseph, 1799-1825. Dukat 1813, München. NGC MS62+. Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung. Das durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian IV Joseph, 1799-1825. Ducat of 1813, Munich mint. Extraordinary condition, Finest certified by NGC.)"
This type was issued in small numbers 1807-22 with a very similar type issued 1823-25 (KM 718). None are cheap.
