This litas is the only issue of this denomination from the first republic of Lithuania (1918-40). It was struck at the London mint. It was one of a series issued in 1925 ranging from one centas to five litas.
Recorded mintage: 5,985,000 plus a few proofs.
Specification: 2.7 g, .500 silver, .043 troy oz ASW.
