This specimen was lot 2592 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $340.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands: Holland. Ducat, 1753. Knight standing. NGC graded EF-45." The type is recorded from Holland 1702-92; each province of the Netherlands issued its own coins. Holland was the largest and wealthiest part of the United Provinces, now the kingdom of the Netherlands.
