This specimen was lot 25080 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $4,993.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Leopold the Hogmouth gold Ducat 1702-KB, MS66+ PCGS, a glittering jewel with flashy prooflike mint luster and bold design features. Very rare in this lofty designation and certainly among the finest known." This type is noted in the SCWC for 1658-1704.
