This type does not seem to be listed in the SCWC or Friedberg. Several issues are close, but it is not Fr-178 (issued for Tyrol), not Fr-187 (goldgulden issued for archduke Leopold, similar to [[Austria 1619 ducat Fr-186|Fr-186]]), nor Bohemia Fr-26 (dated 1621). The Hapsburgs issued dozens of different ducats but very rarely struck goldgulden. |

This specimen was lot 1710 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 43,000 CHF (about US$55,324 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
