Sincona sale 98, lot 4126

This specimen was lot 4126 in SINCONA Auction 98 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 225 CHF (about US$326 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ Bern, Stadt und Kanton, Vierteltaler (10 Batzen) 1757, Bern. Laubrand. Gutes vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Switzerland, city and canton of Bern, quarter thaler or ten batzen of 1757, Bern mint. Herringbone edge, About Uncirculated, Nicely toned.)"

This type was struck 1757-60 and 1773-74 and is fairly scarce.
