This specimen was lot 1027 in Aureo sale 291 (Barcelona, April 2017), where it sold for €95 (about US$122 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"''1693. Carlos II. Barcelona. 1 croat. Anv.: CAROL II DG HISP REX Rev.: Roel en 2º y 3er cuartel. Buen ejemplar. Escasa así. MBC+.'' ([[Spain]], Charles II, one croat of 1693, Barcelona mint. Obverse: bust left; reverse: rings in second and third quarters. Nice example, scarce thus, very fine or better.)"</blockquote> This type is listed in the SCWC for 1693 and 1698. This specimen seems rather light to be a one real, the given weight being closer to one twelfth of a peso rather than the standard one eighth.

The first specimen was lot 1027 in Aureo sale 291 (Barcelona, April 2017), where it sold for €95 (about US$122 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

Specification: silver, this specimen 2,19 g.

Catalog reference: Cayón-7286, KM 50, Cru.C.G. 4906 var, Badia 1148, Cal. 669.
