This specimen was part of lot 40413 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRALIA. Florin, 1925. PCGS MS-62 Secure Holder. Satin luster with light toning." This type was struck 1911-36 at London, Heaton, Sydney and Melbourne. The dates prior to the late twenties are scarce, especially in nice condition.
