This specimen was lot 3240 in Sincona sale 33 (Zürich, October 2016), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEDEN. Karl IX. 1604-1611 4 Mark 1609. Stockholm. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (kingdom of Sweden, Charles IX, 1604-11, four mark of 1609, Stockholm mint. Very fine-extremely fine.)"
This coin was struck 1607-11; all dates are scarce or rare. Unlike the similar Norwegian four mark, this coin did not rate a Davenport number.
