This specimen was lot 208 in Sincona sale 54 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$714 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"''Hamburg, Stadt, Dukat 1868. Gutes vorzüglich.'' ([[Germany]], city of Hamburg, ducat of 1868, Good extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type is listed for 1868-72 and is fairly common for a German ducat of the period. It is distinguished from earlier issues of 1854-67 (KM 579) by the addition of a "B" on the shell below the tablet on the reverse.
