This specimen was lot 5081 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 34,000 CHF (about US$40,749 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Bern | Stadt und Kanton, 8 Dukaten 1797, Bern. Goldabschlag vom Halbtaler. Gekröntes Stadtwappen. Rv. Stehender Krieger mit Langschwert. Im Abschnitt die Jahreszahl. Laubrand.
