This specimen was lot 691 in Sincona sale 89 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,322 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Maximilian I. 1493-1519. Sechser o. J., Hall. Gutes sehr schön. Hübsche Patina. Kleine Kratzer. Exemplar der Auktion Frankfurter Münzhandlung 139, Frankfurt am Main, November 1992, Los 358. (Holy Roman Empire, Maximilian I, 1493-1519, undated six kreuzer, Hall mint. Good very fine, Attractively toned, Some small scratches.)"
The first thalers or guldiners were struck during Maximilian's reign and were worth sixty kreuzer, or ten of these coins.
