This specimen was lot 3327 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$264 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Luzern, Groschen 1562, Luzern. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Luzern, groschen of 1562, Luzern mint. Good very fine.)"
This type was struck 1562-69 in numerous varieties, mostly in the obverse legend. At this time, one thaler made 24 groschen or 72 kreuzer. The groschen was struck in several cantons but was gradually superseded by the batzen or four kreuzer.
