This specimen was lot 163 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 55,000 CHF (about US$72,677 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"IRAN, Qajar Dynasty, Fath-'Ali Shah, 1212-1250 AH (1797-1834). 4 Riyal 1227 AH (1812), Tabriz Mint. Von grösster Seltenheit. Einziges bekanntes Exemplar und unpubliziert. Unikat; Of the highest rarity. The only known specimen and unpublished. Unique. NGC AU55. Purchased from S. Album, Santa Rosa, California, in 1983."

Assuming the type C weight standard was in effect for the rial (10.36 g), this coin should weigh 41.44 g.
