This specimen was lot 3238 in Sincona sale 87 (Zurich, October 2023), where it sold for 900 CHF (about US$1,212 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"UKRAINE Republik, seit 1991. 50 Hryven 1999, Kyiv. Geburt Christi. Selten. Nur 3'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. (republic of the Ukraine, since 1991, fifty hryven of 1999, Kiev mint, on the birth of Christ. Rare. Only 3,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof.)"
